The following is the DIRECTIONS ACT Website Privacy Policy and Notice:

Information Automatically Logged
DIRECTIONS ACT may log your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our Web site. This information is also used to allow us to determine statistical usage of the website.

The referring URL (the webpage you left before coming to a DIRECTIONS ACT webpage, if any) is logged whenever you view a page on the DIRECTIONS ACT website. This allows DIRECTIONS ACT to see which areas are on the website, the paths taken to reach each page and if there are particular trends for usage. In times of peak usage, being able to log the referring URL can sometimes help DIRECTIONS ACT alleviate traffic flow so that a greater number of people can reach the site without errors.

When you log into the DIRECTIONS ACT website, your IP information is automatically associated with your username and posts. This relationship is viewable only to the system administrators and board moderators.

DIRECTIONS ACT will not disclose this information to any third party, nor do we have plans to do so in the future. If DIRECTION ACT has a reason to disclose that information, you will be asked for your consent to do so via and email. Should this privacy policy be amended an announcement will be made on the news page of the DIRECTIONS ACT website.

DIRECTIONS ACT may occasionally run polls of website users on various issues and topics. Please note that participation in these polls is entirely voluntary, and any information tying your IP address to your vote is discarded without being viewed by the moderators or administrators.

Advertisers and Cookies
DIRECTIONS ACT uses cookies only to allow you to log in automatically, keep track of the last time you logged in (so that you can be told if there are new messages in a forum, for instance) and to provide a unique session ID for your Forum session for database access and management.

Personal Information
Personal information collected by DIRECTIONS ACT is limited to your chosen user name, a valid email address, and a password of your choosing.

Note that the board administrators and moderators always have access to your email address.

You may optionally provide your instant message addresses, web page addresses, and other personal information by clicking on the "profile" button at the top left of the main DIRECTIONS ACT theme. We suggest that you use common sense in what you reveal about yourself in your profile.

If you choose to include your ICQ/AIM/MSN/Y! addresses, your website URL, your location, occupation, interests, or a signature line, these items will always be publicly viewable to all users. The only way to not have them shown is to delete them from your profile.

Should DIRECTIONS ACT be served with a subpoena for information, it will comply with the order, as this is a legal requirement.

External Links
This site contains links to other sites and images linked from other sites which are automatically incorporated into the content displayed by this system. Regardless of whether or not the external link was posted by an individual user, a moderator, or a system administrator, DIRECTIONS ACT is not responsible for the privacy practices, actions, or the content of such web sites.

Private System
Please note that the DIRECTIONS ACT website is a private system, and your access to and use of the service may be terminated at any time for any reason by the website administrator.
